A Triple Threat Artist with singing, songwriting, and instrumental talent is a rarity these days until you meet Gerry Scullion.

Now, with the debut of his new EP 'Hide & Seek', Gerry Scullion a.k.a. Minus Circus brings a new brand of progressive rock to captivate your heart and soul.

'Hide & Seek' was recorded in Los Angeles in 2007 with two highly acclaimed producers, 11-time Grammy winner Rafa Sardina (Stevie Wonder, Luis Miguel, Macy Gray) and Cheche Alara (Christina Aguilera, Pink)."Gerry was asked to make a wish-list for his band to record with in Los Angeles. He chose Peter Thorn (Chris Cornell, Linda Perry, Courtney Love, Jewel), Sean Hurley (Vertical Horizon, Alicia Keys, John Mayer) and Toss Panos (Andy Summers, Steve Vai) – he got all three. Gerry gets what he wants!" says Sardina.

Like previous releases by Radiohead, Prince and Nine Inch Nails, MC is going directly to fans, bypassing traditional distribution methods and offering the four songs FREE for a limited time.

An Experience Part acoustic, part electric, Gerry Scullion combines Indie riffs and folk beats as effectively as he pulls off a stripped down acoustic performance.

The studio version of the songs on Hide & Seek is film, radio or concert hall ready. Gerry strums his beloved guitar when he's not creating art for new and mixed media – as in the work you see on his web site and album covers. With rich influences ranging from U2, The Blue Nile, Wilco, R.E.M to Sinatra...Gerry's unique brand of rock carries the message of hope throughout his work.

The Young Troubadour and his musical journey began in the summer of 2005 with the creation of a critically acclaimed foursome (drums, bass, guitar and keys), Minus Circus. 27-year-old Scullion has toured Sydney, Ireland and Los Angeles.

Charity work includes performing and raising over $12000 ( 9.5k Euros) in 2003 for Our Ladys Childrens Hospital in Crumlin, Ireland.

Here are some recent Press Quotes:

"Minus Circus is the nom de guerre of LA domiciled Irishman Gerry Scullion who trades in impeccably produced pop rock that manages to find a perfect middle ground between the electric and the acoustic. On this EP, the effortless swing of the opening track 'Good Soul/ Bad Soul' the gentle beauty of 'Hide & Seek', the addictive hook of 'Revolve' and the more introspective mood of 'Hold on Tightly' make for four different but equally enjoyable tracks."
HOT PRESS (Ireland)- July 2008

"It is altogether an engrossing EP well worth the attention of those who appreciate the merits of accessible indie-rock with a lyrical edge."
FREQUENCY IERLAND - June 2008

EVENING HERALD - FEB 2006

"...Minus Circus whose sound has an acoustic core amidst the electrics, with delicious guitars truly sparkling. The opening track, the mid-tempo "Take it All", has touches of early REM and Wilco..."The Gem" is slower and moodier with more of that terrific guitar..with passionate vocals by Gerry Scullion. The lighters-aloft brigade might love it."Good Soul/Bad Soul" is a heavier track with a ponderous, nagging rhythm that could reactivate the most lethargic toes. Solid Stuff..."
HOT PRESS - MAY 2006

This is the eponymous debut EP from lively Dublin quartet Minus Circus. Lead track "Take It All" is a near perfect indie/pop moment that boasts a charming guitar riff which would sit comfortably on The Stone Roses' first record (you know the one, the best album in the world ever, better than OK Computer multiplied by Revolver). Next up is "The Gem", a gorgeous wistful ballad that flows effortlessly into the acerbic finale, "Good Soul / Bad Soul".
Impressive stuff.
